These materials provide important background for tomorrow’s meeting. Reviewing them ahead of time will allow more of our limited meeting time to be spent on informed questions, discussion, and issues that matter to the community.
The board is encouraging all 139 Providence Arbours households to participate in tomorrow’s meeting. The implementation of PR4 has raised strong feelings across the neighborhood, and tomorrow’s meeting will hopefully offer a productive opportunity for those concerns to be heard and discussed together.
We encourage both the board members and community at large to do their part in fostering a productive meeting.
Some of you may have received by mistake an email this evening from the Providence Arbours Community website that mistakenly listed the wrong date in the email title. We apologize for the error. Please know that the HOA Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2026.
In follow-up to Cedar Management Group’s official email notice to HOA members on October 12, the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Providence Arbours HOA will be held this coming Thursday, October 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the South Charlotte Banquet Center, 9009 Bryant Farms Rd., Charlotte, NC 28277.
So what can you expect? Cedar Management Group sent yet another email to HOA members yesterday (October 19) advising that the meeting will cover the following topics:

A big week is coming up next week for members of the Providence Arbours HOA. Here’s what you need to know about two scheduled, in-person meetings.
Pre-Meeting (Grassroots Neighborhood Meeting) | Tuesday, August 11 at 6:30pm: An in-person, grassroots (non-board sponsored) Pre-Meeting is taking place at the home of a Providence Arbours HOA member. The objective is to gather and prepare for the next day’s scheduled Special Meeting of the HOA to discuss Policy Resolution #4 (Architectural Control Guidelines). Special Meeting (Official HOA Meeting) | Wednesday, August 12 from 6:45pm – 8:00pm: At the request of HOA members who delivered a Petition for Special Meeting pursuant to Article II, Section 3 of the Bylaws of the Providence Arbours Homeowners Association, the HOA Board of Directors is hosting an in-person, Special Meeting to discuss Policy Resolution #4. On behalf of the Providence Arbours HOA Board of Directors, Cedar Management Group emailed a notice yesterday (July 31, 2026) to all HOA members to provide Notice that a Special Meeting has been scheduled to discuss Policy Resolution #4 (Architectural Control Guidelines).
This Special Meeting is taking place at the request of HOA members who delivered a Petition for Special Meeting pursuant to Article II, Section 3 of the Bylaws of the Providence Arbours Homeowners Association. The petition was generated in response to the broadcast email sent to all HOA members on June 19, 2026 by the Board of Directors providing notice of the newly adopted Policy Resolution #4.
The Special Meeting is taking place on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 6:45pm – 8:00pm at Providence Presbyterian Church located at 10140 Providence Church Lane, Charlotte, NC 28277.
