The Fourth of July holiday is just around the corner, and whether you’re planning a backyard cookout, heading to the beach or mountains, or looking for something a little more festive, the greater Charlotte region has no shortage of ways to celebrate. From SkyShow at Truist Field and the Whitewater Center’s two-day party to free community fireworks displays scattered across Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, Iredell, Rowan, and Lincoln Counties — plus York and Lancaster Counties across the SC line — there’s truly something for everyone.

Our friends at Charlotte on the Cheap have put together their annual “Big List” of Fourth of July fireworks shows, parades, festivals, and celebrations across the region, complete with dates, times, locations, and an interactive map. It’s an incredibly handy resource and is updated regularly as new details are confirmed.
